What inspired you to launch your own website?

people kept asking us where can i buy this or that so we decided to look into it.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

the first site was launched in 2005.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

uk shopping in portugal seemed appropiate because this what poeple search for online

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

we offer a unique service because we will do everything for our customer from the ordering to the delivery

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

to franchise the site so this service is available all over europe

so far so good we have had a great response from expats

i would develop a lot more services that expats keep asking us for.

yes because we have put the foundation work in place

advertising is very expensive

it hasnt as we did a lot of research in advance

its been going for 3.5 years and we have long term plans
